PADI stands for the "Professional Association of Diving Instructors" and is the largest and most respected diver training organisation in the world.

Active Scuba are proud to have achieved PADI 5 star Dive Centre status, a rating only awarded to dive centres who achieve and maintain the highest levels of quality, service and safety. We are also an appointed PADI Instructor Development centre responsible for training new diving instructors to work at dive centres throughout the world. All of our Instructional staff have been trained by us to ensure the highest standards of diving instruction and are all respected PADI members.

PADI diving courses cover the entire spectrum of recreational diver training from children's classes up to Instructor level. The courses are modular which enables students to learn at their own convenience.

PADI instructors lead the way in the diving world with nearly a million divers trained last year alone. There are PADI dive centres in over 180 countries, making PADI diving qualifications the most recognized worldwide.
